‘Mys.Scot’ is the shorthand name for the magazine
‘Mysterious Scotland’.
The phrase ‘Mys.Scot’ was coined by characters in Tormod Cockburn’s books. Set in Scotland, they follow the trials and tribulations of archaeologist Gill McArdle as he adapts to his new life as ‘Investigative Editor’ for the magazine.
The name rather stuck with us, so it became the name for our new publishing venture. For the time being, we will just be publishing Tormod’s books but hope to work with other authors in due course. Please use the Reader’s Syndicate to receive updates.
